Due to its location en route from Salwator to Kościuszko Mound, the cemetery is very popular amongst tourists. Beautiful panorama of the city unfolds from there and when the weather is good – also the Beskidy range as well as the peaks of the Tatra mountains are clearly visible. Amongst numerous graves there is one in which a young dramatist of the Young Poland period Karol Hubert Rostworowski was buried as well as Karol Frycz – an outstanding theatre personality and a stage designer.
